I am a graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and technology with a Bsc. in Medical Microbiology. Ialso have a diploma in medical laboratory sciences from The Kenya Polytechnic. I am loojing for the above (but not restricted to)job in any institution (government or private). I am currently working in Eldoret polytechnic as a teacher employed by the B.O.G.

Thanks for your efforts to finish your degree. Next i urge you to try getting an internship so that it will serve two purposes: getting you experience as well as a chance to penetrate.

Examples of places.

1. Walter reed army research institute.

2. National public health laboratories

3. Various dairy industries

4. AMREF

5. International primate research

6. KEMRI

7. Veterinary pharmaceuticals like Coopers

8. Research units like University of Nairobi, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.( Human medicine is hard to secure an internship)

You have to be creative and focused. Dont be too conventional.Good luck.
