What countries do you have a visa to work in? Idont have a visa.however with the East africa comunity agreement I believe it much easier to obtain a work permit with member countries if need be. What field do you currently work in? Am in a logistical operations .Currently am working with DHL supply chain as a stock audit officer.Am work entails capturing stock movement and stock reconciliations. What fields have you worked in before? Hospitality. I have worked in foob and beverage servise in Kilaguni serena hotel and also in Rangers restaurant. What qualifications do you hold? I hold a Proffesional diploma in Logistics operations and management from Chattered institute of logistics and transport. Currently am planning to join the next level in January 2011. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? They all go hand in hand, Formal education gives a strong foundation, that is of paramount importance for entire skills. Since an organisation consists of people the degree to which they work happily together have a direct impact to organisational profitability and growth. When i joned Dhl i had to go back to refresher coourse in computer applications and i needed to beat the targets in submitting my stock reports. However i managed my time well and eventually i was set. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Being in harmony with every one is the key to success in the overall firm. What unique skills do you have? I posses good team work spirit .Ican work with no or minimal supervision. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being a Logistics cordinator in a busy firm both humantarian and profitable firms. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The tradeoffs that are made against costs and service are so interesting. What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
