What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for a customer care representative job.A job that will maximize my potential and be able to learn more and broaden my horizons academically,socially and careerwise.

What nationality are you?

Kenyan.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak fluent English and Swahili and some French.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I am looking forward to work in Kenya because i am Kenyan and i strongly believe i understand Kenyan customer's needs and wants and i will be able to satisfy them as much as i can.

What countries have you worked in?

Kenya.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

None.

What field do you currently work in?

Right now i am persuing a Diploma course in Marketing Management at the Kenya Institute of Management{KIM}of which i will finish in September 2009.

What fields have you worked in before?

Market Research and conducting of opinion polls with the Steadman Group.

What qualifications do you hold?

I have completed a Diploma course in Marketing Management{part one} and i am currently pursuing part two at the Kenya Institute of Management.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I consider both to be equally valuable.Without formal education,one cannot communicate and interact effectively with others in the society.Skills are also important because they set one apart from the others.Without skills one cannot perform specialized task within the organization,skills enables one see the relationship between forces others cannot see,to understand how a variety of factors are interrelated and take a global perspective of the organization and it's environment.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others is a systematic and rational technique that allows the management to attain maximum results from available resources by focusing on achievable goals.Working with others emphasizes on jointly set goals that are tangible,verifiable and measurable.Also it grows leadership skills and enables one understand different people's strengths which bring about synergy.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone ensures effective management through adequate authority,responsibility and accountability.Brilliant success results in sole enjoyment of rewards and accomplishments and also decision making is faster.

What was your worst working experience?

None.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Good communication is part and parcel of the overall management function.it aids managerial performance.Communication enables people to secure information for decision making,to diagnose the various problems faced and to decide on actions to be taken to solve them.

What unique skills do you have?

I am a good communicator.It is through communication that i can present an acceptable image of the organization to the outside world.Proper and effective communication also results in great savings in time and effort.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

A job that will enable me to put all i have learnt into practice and be able to satisfy my needs without depending on others.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Showing a strong impression of competence,honesty and sincerity so as to make the customers make repeated purchases and influence other prospects. Meeting and interacting with different people with different needs and wants which come with different attitudes,perceptions and personalities and be able to satisfy them fully.

Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?

None.

What are the methods used to deal with objections?

When dealing with objections,you should show respect first to the client and then put the alternative point of view forward.Listen carefully to what the client says and do not interrupt.
