I like to work Engine related job like, engine servicing( Generator), overhauling, preventive maintenance also like to work in power plant, etc. What nationality are you? Bangali ( Excellent) English ( Very good- Writting, Speaking and Reading) What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I like to work in Korea. Few days ago I went to korea for a trarining in Hyndai company. I am very impressed to the country within a short time specially for thier working procedure. If I go to kora, I may inhanced myself doing job their. That's why I like to go to korea. What countries have you worked in? I worked in sigapore for six years in shipyard in Mechanical and Maintenance Department, also I have traing on Waukesha Gas Engine from thailand ( Trainning centre of Waukaesha Dresser Inns, USA). Presently I have been working for 6 years Plus at service Department ( Mecahanical) in Dana Engineers International Ltd who is sole distibutor of Waukesha Gas Engine. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I have no vissa but got passport. What field do you currently work in? Current job fild: Working under Dana Engineers International, Bangladesh since 1st June, 2005 I have to take care 65 units of Gas generator for overhauling, trouble shooting and carrying out Schedule maintenance job as a group in charge and I gathered the following experiences: a. Overhaul ( major and top ) , repair, trouble shoot of Waukesha gas engine ( generator ) model no-VHP-( 7100GSI, 7100GSID, 7104GSI/GSID,5900,5904GSID,3604GSID) VSG-F11GSID (already I have overhauled Waukesha engine at least 80 times ). i)Cylinder head removing, servicing and fixing, ii)Piston removing, servicing and fixing, iii)Liner servicing iv) Mantle & Dismantle of main bearing and Big-end-bearing, v) Carburetor and Gas regulator servicing, b. Installation of the new engines (Including lower, upper and coupling alignment), various pump alignment. c. Assemble & disassemble the pump (Auxiliary & jacket water pump), heat exchanger, lube oil cooler, turbocharger. d. Pump and Motor alignment. e. Fault finding and trouble shooting respond according to the customer complain. f. Distribute the job to the junior level. g. Perform with tappet clearance. h. Handle the schedule maintenance job. i. Make the job reports. j. Maintain a clean and oil free area around the working spot. k. Ensure safety, quality and productivity at working side. l. As an Office In charge, I have to maintain Official job, namely, preparing Profit & loss A/C of office, sending deferent types of file to head office by email, maintaining Store lager Balance, etc. What fields have you worked in before? Previous Experiences: Experience in Keppel Shipyard- a) Repair & overhaul of various Diesel engines (ship). b) Repair and test of pneumatic and hydraulic controlled deck machineries such winch, windlass, crane, davits, and valves such as butterfly valve, gate valve, three way valve, scupper valve, globe valve, etc. c) Repair various types of pumps such centrifugal, reciprocating, gear type, multistage pump, screw type pump. d) Operation & Maintenance of compressor (Ingersoll-Rand) e) Maintenance of pneumatic and hydraulic system and overhaul power pack. f) Alignment of pump & motor. g) Repair, maintenance and service various kinds of forklift, vehicles, crane. h) Check the crack of crankshaft, propeller shaft using color test, magnetic test, etc. Working on Daihatsu Engine: I. Cylinder head servicing, II. Piston servicing, III. Jacket water pump, Auxiliary water pump, Lube oil pump servicing, IV. Injector servicing and testing, While working in Maintenance Department, I do following jobs: a) Compressor sevicing and operatiing, b)Pump operating, serving and making aline. c) Replacing the crain wire, Hydrolic pump servicing. What qualifications do you hold? Technical Education: Course attended : Diploma- in- Marine Engineering. Course attended : Marine Diesel Artificer Course Course Attended : NTC-3 (Marine Mechanics). B- Grade Name of Institute : Institute of Technical Education, Singapore. Genaral Education: Course attended : Secondary School Certificate. (1stdivision, 685 marks from science gp) Course attended : Higher Secondary Certificate. (1st divison, 623marks from science gp). Course Attended : Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet browsing. Name of Institute : NTUC Computer Training Centre, Singapore. Course Attended : IELTS. Speaking-5, Writing-5, Listening-4.5 & Reading-4.5 (Grade-overall 5). Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? In my opinion, I like the skilled education, I mean technical Education. The reasons are as follows:1)If the people of a country as much as more technically educated, the country become developed so earlier, namely, Japan, Korea, USA, Australia.2) The value of tecnical person is more that's why so many countries like to buy technical person more,3) Technical education can decorate a county well. On the contrary, I never neglect the formal education. It is also important. A mother gives birth his baby only but a formal educated techer makes him( baby) a real man. So I can not avoid it. Describe the benefits of working with others The knowledge, measurement, experience of all persons is not same. So the benefits of group working are: 1) Error of work can be minimized, 2) Work can be done easer and earlier,3)Knowledge can be shared during difficulties moment.4) Accident can be minimized. Describe the benefits of working alone The benefits of working alone: 1)Working alone increases the confident on person. 2)If anybody wants to upgrade his position, he should work alone. 3)Self working inspires a man to learn more. 4)Working alone increases the tendency to lead. What was your worst working experience? Attentiveness on work: It was my worst experience in my lief. It was near about a koppy time, 6:30 Pm. I was ordered by my foremen to bring Klinger Gasket to on board ship. I went onto a roor to bring down gasket.My mind was to koppy time, so I wanted the job earlier. When I pulled out the gasket, I fallen down from the roof. But I was so lucky. I used to exersize at that time. My body was stonger. Never happened a big injure. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? A good career means a good lief. Through my career I could learn the best lesson that A Chain of Command is very important during work. More over, A thearitical lief and practical lief is far defferent, so, if a person wants to learn something or to build up a practical lief, he should be more closer to his job. What unique skills do you have? I can carry out schedule maintenance job of an engine. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I prefer repairing and servesing job. So repairing of engine is my dream job. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Repairing and servecing of engine is my preferable job. Trouble shooting is my another interesting subject of my job. When I do trouble shooting job, the causes of the fault create a curisity in my mind to learn more. So I never feel boring while finding faults. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? The operation job makes me boring. I feel sleepy. So I always try to avoid this area. How does the safety influence on a business ? I like start with myself slogan." Prevention is better than cure, If safety is hundred percent sure." Safety is very important for a business, for a lief, even for an every sector to carry on a lief. Suppose, a company wanted to make some new ships from hyndai company. firstly,the company will see the safety record of hyndai company then he will submit his order to make new ships. A safety can carry the good will of a company and a good will means more business and more profit. If safety is 100% sure, the business will be increased and profit is 100% sure.
