Slick Line Supervisor I am currently searching for Slick Line Supervisors for one of our clients in Kuwait. Job Responsibilities: Supervise, act as crew leader and perform all slick line field operations according to client procedures in a safely and timely manner. Ensure that units assigned have all surface and downhole tools and equipment, safety equipment certificates requires to perform the job and maintain updated records in the unit. Perform ore-job and post job maintenance on units assigned to ensure that equipment assigned is 100% operational at all times by carrying out on site maintenance, if so required and report. Perform routine preventative maintenance on unit assigned. Train personnel assigned on jobs to perform and evaluate performance Ensure correct rig up of equipment on site in accordance with the Company standard procedures and specific customer requirements. Ensure pressure testing of equipment is performed in accordance with the Company standard procedures and specific customer requirements. Ensure operating of equipment is carried out correctly in accordance with the Company operating procedures and Customer programme requirements. Conduct the companys pre-operation safety meeting and record minutes on safety meeting report form Completion of high quality reports in accordance with companys reporting procedures and standards Interpret wire line programme and organize equipment and instruct wire line crew to carry out specific programme correctly and competently Liaise with client representative on feasibility of programme steps and advice on equipment limitation with respect to the requirements of the Wire line programme (routine operations) Liaise with client crew members of other discipline to ensure that wire line operations are performed efficiently and safely Maintain relevant contact with the department Manager or Supervisor on equipment and crew requirements and all other job related planning. Ensure that all equipment is rigged down and packed away properly, safely and in accordance with the environmental requirements and transportation requirements Carry out performance assessments on subordinates Perform COSHH, Manual Handling and Risk Assessments Carry out Multi Skill activities where required Personal Attributes: Team player Ability to communicate Organizational skills Industry/Slick Line Experience: Minimum of 7 years of slick line experience To be familiar with down hole changes (zone change) Otis type A tubinh perforator (tubing puncher) Gas lift valve change Type DW slip type lock Swabbing procedure and operation Familiar with Otis/backer down hole Experience with high pressure Wells with 15K/20K equipment Technical Qualifications: Understand the theory, objective and background of slick line operation and subsequently the selected equipment for each application General basic engineering knowledge through either education of gained experience and training. (Understand the relevant calculation involved in slick line operations) e.g. hydrostatic calculation. Knowledge of Health & Safety systems, Quality systems Able to create teamwork in the execution of the programme and motivate staff Knowledge of all surface and sub surface wire line equipment, their down hole function Mechanical background (ONC or equivalent preferred) Academic Background: Minimum apprentice qualification or 10 years field experience OND/HND Engineering degree is preferred Slick line certificates of training done by independent contractor |
