What type of job is looking for you :-)?
I don't need a job that doesn't need me. It's not the money I'm after. I'm seeking to be productive by serving the community with what I'm good at, and this will be programming (C++ and Java), computer maintenance, and systems services.
What nationality are you? (and what species)
I'm Lebanese, but I don't think that this will influence my work. What's important is that I'm human. This means that I treat others accordingly.
What languages do you speak (and at what level)?
I speak Arabic very well, English fluently, and some French. I understand all three languages very well. I also speak many programming languages, and I understand all programming languages the computer understands :-).
What country or area are you looking to work in and why?
I'm not very demanding in this field. I just don't want to put all my salary and time on the road travelling to and from work. It's also nice to have some trees around, but that's not a critical condition :-).
What field do you currently work in?
Human development :-). I don't have a professional work, but I belong to several organizations that work on human development spiritually, psychologically (socially), and physically.
What fields have you worked in before?
I haven't worked in any official company, but I've worked in several fields before as separate projects: Video editing, sound mixing, 3D animation, graphic design, and ofcourse C++ and Java programming.
What qualifications do you hold?
I learn quickly, I understand the computer when it needs something, I'm calm and very pleasant to work with, and I highly understand people around me. I also hate to use the letter "I".
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
How does a formally educated person serve the community if he/she has no skills? Although formal education is important, skill is the essence of success. This is why it is important that the person works in a field that he/she likes.
Describe the benefits of working with others
It indicates that those people working together are not sick, and prevents them from becoming insane :-). A well organized think-tank and well managed work force is key to professional success, furthermore, teamwork is key to the development of each individual's personality and social skills thus making every human "more human". Last but not least, the team is a great support and strengthener to every member. Exerting pressure on a surface is wiser than concentrating it on a single point, right?
Describe the benefits of working alone
Some special times, silence and tranquility is needed so that a special task is completed. Working alone from time to time gives peace and allows one to "act out his/her dreams". A person cannot develop his thoughts very extensively if he/she is ALWAYS with people around him/her.
What was your worst working experience?
Until now, I don't have any memorable bad working experiences. Some experiences seem disturbing at start, but they all turn out to be highly beneficial for me (the results are always positive). For example, I was once asked to write a special software for a mechanical engineer that calculates the flow of a fluid as it exits a pipe (with all the mechanical details involvded). In order to complete it I needed to learn a lot about fluid dynamics, and it seemed very stressful at the beginning. The result is that I gained a lot of experience in C++ programming as well as in fluid dynamics, and a reliable software was the product.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
The lesson is that I shouldn't rest more that I need, shouldn't waste time at all, should be thankful and content with anything that's offered to me, and should keep smiling :-). One more essential thing: never lie. "Honesty is the best policy".
What unique skills do you have?
I have great communications skill and I have a special gift: I can make anyone feel better. (This has nothing to do with computers, but this is my unique skill).
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
Deciding who goes to heaven and who goes to hell :-). A good "dream job" for me would be becoming head of a company that is about to invent the most revolutionary invention, and the world is focused on the work of that company.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
I like the logic behind software and computer programming. It is challenging and fun, just like solving a puzzle. It's also fun to work in teams in programming. The best part is when we get the final result.
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
From the variety of systems and hardware components present nowadays, software development and maintenance has become a lengthy process since many surprises tend to come up.
Why do you live?
I'm perfectly aware that at the end I will leave this world, so my only purpose is to leave this world having served humanity very well with what I have and making my creator happy that he created me.
