| History/English Teaching Jobs in Lebanon Hello, I am a graduate student finishing up my Master's degree in American History at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, USA. My fiancee and I are looking to relocate to Lebanon for two to three years so she and I can brush up on our Arabic. I would like to find a teaching job somewhere in Beirut for either English language, or History. I have experience as a teaching assistant conducting lectures for World History. My research interests are largely centered in East Asia and most of my work at the graduate level has been focused on American-Chinese relations during the Second World War. By the time my fiancee and I plan to relocate in June or July 2012, I will have two years worth of Chinese language courses as well. I have not taught English formally, but I am a quick study and have previous classroom experience at the college level. I will be able to teach courses in American History, World History, or British History by the time I arrive in Lebanon. Any information on future job openings would be most helpful. Thank you for your time. |
