What type of job are you looking for?

A job which allows me to leave and work in Liberia, possibly a healthcare or nurse job.

What nationality are you?

Italian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Italian (mothertongue) and English (fluent)

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I spent my last mission with msf in Liberia and I found it very interesting; I would like to work anywhere in Liberia.

What countries have you worked in?

Italy, Afghanistan, England, Liberia

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I don't need a visa to work in european countries ; I need it for Liberia (my visa is going to expire next year)

What field do you currently work in?

I am working as an outreach nurse in Sud Sudan, with MSF.

What fields have you worked in before?

Mainly Healthcare and nursing

What qualifications do you hold?

University degree in nursing (University of Genova, Italy)

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Formal education gives you the essential base to work. But then skills like flexibility, open mind, commitment are the keys to be successful in any job.

Describe the benefits of working with others

the need to use flexibility and to see situations from a broad perspective; respect of different points of view and the need to compare your opinions with those of others, being flessible but able to support and explain your ideas.

Describe the benefits of working alone

The responsibility of your actions; the satisfaction to see improvements due to your own hard job; The possibility to organize your time and priorities

What was your worst working experience?

My first job in an Italian hospital, becouse of my lack of experience

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

To keep a line between me and the others, the main challenge is to respect and being respected at the same time.

What unique skills do you have?

Tolerance, open mind, flexibility, energy.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

A job which allows me to know differet cultures, in contact with people.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

To live and work with people side by side; the challenge to deal with new situations and problems

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The risk of routine
