I am a Liberian by birth and presently a naturalized Dutch. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I do speak and write French at any level.I do also speak Dutch as well. English is my mother tongue. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Liberia,Sierra Leone and or Cote d'Ivoire.The reason is that I previously worked with the Caritas/HCR for five years as business extension agent in Cote D'IVOIRE. I do understand the cultures of these people already. What countries have you worked in? I did work in the Ivory Coast and the Netherlands. What countries do you have a visa to work in? As a naturalized Dutch, I am allowed to work in any Western Nation and as an African from West Africa, I am allowed to work in any West African country. What field do you currently work in? I have been self employed since two months ago.But before that, I was working as Accounting assistant for multinational company specialized in coal mining. What fields have you worked in before? I have worked as follows: Business extension agent under Caritas/HUNHCR for five years;Cash administrator for Footlocker for a year in Holland;Accounts payable accountant for Sun Microsystems for 3 months; Transaction processor at Statestreet bank based in Amsterdam for six months and most recently worked as accounting assistant at a company called New World Resources in Amsterdam for a year. What qualifications do you hold? I hold a BSC in Business Administration from Amsterdam School of Economics. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I consider both the education and skilss more valuable because they allow me to look at things from a broader point. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits are enormous and can not be described.If I were to try,here is what I can contribute: it gives me multinational experience. I makes me to accept/assess other people's view easily. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone makes me more independent and self relaince.It also makes me strong metally. What was your worst working experience? I was discriminated against and had to resign. The banking department's manager of one of my former companies told me that I was lucky to sit behind PC to work being a refugee most especially an African. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Multicultural and multinational aspect of life. What unique skills do you have? Being reliable,flexible etc. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Being a Manager for a sector I may work in one day.
