i am interested in the listed below jobs: trauma counseling/ psychotherapist, social worker, IT implementer,counseling teacher/ trainer and communications.

What nationality are you?

Liberian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English-Fluent & French-Beginner

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

i am actually in search of jobs in any war-affected country. i am more efficient working with war survivors, child soldiers and refugees.

What countries have you worked in?

Ghana-with Liberian refugees, many NGOs and in Liberia as a Child Evangelist.

What field do you currently work in?

Social Welfare/ Service field.

What fields have you worked in before?

Teaching, Training, Trauma Counseling & Managing Director.

What qualifications do you hold?

Advance Diploma in Trauma Counseling, Certificates in: MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel & Website Designing, Certificates in: NGO Management, Conflict and Peace Resolution & Education, Trainings and Workshops in: Gender Equality, Human Rights, Counseling & Conflicts and Peace Resolution.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I do considered both very important. Formal Education needs pratical skills and experiences. Formal Education gives you the theorical analyses of indebt understanding of causes and effects while skills give you a first hand experience and expoture to the raw material.it serves as a platform upon which you can build your formal education upon.in my opinion,they are intertwined.

Describe the benefits of working with others

1. It teaches you socialization and tolerance. 2. One gets acquainted to diverse behaviors and lifestyles,views and opinions. 3. It imporves interpersonal relationships.

Describe the benefits of working alone

1. It helps you to be more efficient knowing that you have a sole responsibility. 2. It teaches you how to focus and be self-relient.

What was your worst working experience?

As a volunteer Counselor Teaching Trauma Counseling. I had an aggressive student who challenged my educational competence,destrub my class and interesting after all this,when my class time ended; walked over to me asking me for the notes i wrote.hahaha

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

I have learnt to be a pure giver to all and to always walk in integrity. I am more empathetic, tolerent and accepting to people as a result of my career. Above all, i am a better communicator.

What unique skills do you have?

Teaching, Public Speaking, Reading, Writing and Communication.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Counseling and Social Works.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

1. Giving people hope, helping them cope with social maladaptive practices and diversity of life's issues.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

None that i can think of.
