What countries have you worked in? Macedonia,FYROM. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I have not worked abroad, but I have a biometric passport. What field do you currently work in? I work in General Hospital-Kumanovo,and i have 24 years of experience. 2000-present Head Theatre Sister in General Hospital in Kumanovo,responsible for midwifes who are working in the operating theatre at the moment;organizing their work;assisting in all kinds of operations which are performing in the hospital:Cystectomia,Adnexectomia,Resectio Ovarii,Abdominal total hysterectomy,Vaginal hysterectomy without adnexectomy,and all obstetric interventions. What fields have you worked in before? 1988-2010 State Certified Midwife-Theatre Sister,operating theatre;General Hospital Kumanovo,FYROM I was involved in various procedures in gynecology:hysterosalpingographia,vaginal check-ups,transvaginal and transabdominal punctions,artificial abortions;assists in all obstetric interventions where a midwife is needed:Vacuum Extractor,Cesarean Section etc. What qualifications do you hold? Higher Medical School,Bitola-Department Midwifes-4 years University "St.Kliment Ohridski",Bitola-SPECIALIST MIDWIFE (by European standards)-3 years Certificate from UNICEF,program "FRIENDLY BABIES" Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? According to me, I think both are important. Knowledge,for new findings in medicine, and skills for better management and better results in work. Describe the benefits of working with others In medicine is an important team work, including cooperation with the collective and respect other people's personalities and knowledge. Describe the benefits of working alone My job involves teamwork. What was your worst working experience? So far I do not have a negative experience(and this is confirmed with the recommendation that I have from my superiors). What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Consult with others, respect others' opinions and knowledge, and continuous improvement in work. What unique skills do you have? Some things I can do it myself (delivery, sterilization, education etc.) What would you consider as your 'dream job'? "Dream job" is my job in the field under continuous development and progress. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? When I help a woman to birth to a new life. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Everything in my work is interesting for me. |
