| Yahoo! Answers: What does this new healthcare bill mean for me? My husband works, like normal people. Has a great job, great insurance. He pays for the insurance out of his check each pay period like normal hard working people. His daughter is 18 and before the bill passed was to be dropped at age 19. I heard a rumor that kids now stay on their parents insurance until 27. Is this true? would it be mandatory? We dont want her to stay on that long! What kind of responsibility is that teaching? Louisiana law states that a child doesnt HAVE to be on their parents insurance at all. Does this new bill also mean that its going to be harder to see a doctor? are the people who were uninsured before going to automatically get insurance from the goverment? wouldnt that just be an excuse for them to jump and run to the dr every single time they get a paper cut? are there stipulations to the "free" healthcare? will our insurance become cheaper? IM SO LOST!! |
