What countries have you worked in? Philippines What field do you currently work in? I am recently working in an International Shipping Line. What fields have you worked in before? I am previously connected in a Freight Forwarding Company. What qualifications do you hold? As to my previous job I used to be a cylinder inventory clerk in one of the most competent oxygen company here in cebu. Followed,by my 2nd previous employer which i was an Import documentation in-charge in a Freight Forwarding Company and recently holding as Export Soc documentation in International Shipping Line. This is basically in lined with my profession as a Customs Enthusiast being an Import and Exportation in-charge. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? As to the degree that I have acquired, formal education is the most valuable for me. With formal education you can impart your knowledge and understanding on the field that you are in;with formal education you can aim higher to achieve your goals. Describe the benefits of working with others For me two heads is better than one, but working with others is merrier. Working with others gives you the chance to get along with them. Through them you can get some insights to ponder in some ways it can help you develop your ability and skills. Describe the benefits of working alone For me working alone is sounds boring, but it gives you the privacy and makes you concentrate on what your doing.No disturbances. What was your worst working experience? First and foremost it was a great job, very challenging and self-motivated job working in a Freight Forwarding Company. But due to some uncertainties which I can't handle i quit and give up. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? The most important lesson that I have learned throughout my career is to stand up with my thoughts, my principle. My responsibilities as a human being. I've learned so much things in my job but i know i must have look forward for some better opportunities. What unique skills do you have? As for my profession as a Customs Graduate, I can do computation of customs duties and taxes. Generate Bill of Ladings for export shipments. Do customer/ client feedback regarding with their shipments. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job is to work in a prestigious Hotel. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The most interesting aspects of my field is dealing with other people in relation to import and export trade.
