Macau,Hong Kong.i have heard these are good locations to teach english What fields have you worked in before? Since age of 21 i have been a heavy truck driver.From 1973-1998 i was self employed with my own truck.My work took me to Europe&the Middle East,Iraq&Iran.Currently i am a teacher of speacialised training of road tankers,the safe loading/unloading and am a driving assessor. What qualifications do you hold? MY age is 64,and have a Tefl certificate which inspired me to teach english. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? In my case both.Although i have no experience in English teaching i am very keen to start somewhere.After all we all have to start somewhere.I have a vast knowledge of life and i love teaching. Describe the benefits of working with others I have always found working with others useful in as much as you can pool your ideas. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone i think you can get more interaction with the class.In the past i have mainly taught individual learners.But have taught up to 15. What was your worst working experience? My worst experience is completing my apprenticeship in an engineering factory,which included some college work. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Treat others the way you want to be treated.Being firm but fair to gain respect from others. What unique skills do you have? I am a very tollerent person,also have a passive nature and like to always get results. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I would like to get some teaching English experience under my belt.I would love the chance to teach in China. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The satisfaction of passing on my skills to people that are willing to learn whatever you are teaching. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Any failings on my part.
