I'm a Filipino-Chinese. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Chinese Mandarin and Fukien(basic) English and Filipino (advanced). What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Macao, Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada What countries have you worked in? Philippines. What countries do you have a visa to work in? Haven't tried applying for a working visa in any country yet. What field do you currently work in? Call Center What fields have you worked in before? Travel and Hotel What qualifications do you hold? My ability to read and write in another language. My college degree, working/ training experience and my attitude. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education is more valuable because it is a proof that you can actually learn fast and finish what you have started. Skills on the other hand is still important because it shows how natural the person can do the work. Describe the benefits of working with others Two heads are better than one. Working with others give you more options because more people are thinking, bringing ideas about things. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone would mean that you have more time to think and no one will disturb you with your plans. I personally work well by myself. What was your worst working experience? A lot of things has happened at work that I don't like/ approve of, but its not that bad. I can think of the worst, all I know is that I get disappointed a lot when I see my colleagues taking their work for granted. Leaving me alone to do all the work instead of trying to do their work since they were hired to work and not to have others work for them. Plus, the point of applying to work for others is to be able to help them grow and offer better services that would satisfy their clients and not to have them wait for too long. But that's not a problem really. Because its a given that things like this will happen at work. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I have learned to just be pro-active. To do my work the best that I can and not be affected by anyone. What unique skills do you have? I can be a leader or a team player. I'm dependable and flexible. I can work with or without supervision and I easily adopt and learn the work wherever I am placed/assigned. I'm a computer literate- mastered the microsoft office and I know basic HTML too. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job would be a stable job where I can excel, meet great and inspiring people/ colleagues at the same time it can pay all the bills and I still would have extra money for myself. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? My field makes it possible to satisfy and make other people happy with my work, travel, learn and get paid in return. These few simple reasons makes it interesting to work in my field. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Working during holidays and not being able to celebrate with our families most of the time makes it a little uninteresting, but its all good because as I have said earlier, I like the fact that I can make people smile and satisfied with the service I provide and get paid. It makes me feel about myself. Why should you be hired? I'm great with customers, I'm used to handle complaints. I was trained to do things extraordinarily well in school. I was raised well by my parents which has resulted to a person who has the right attitude and determination to do good in everything I am tasked to do and succeed in my field. And I can learn fast.
