Malawi What languages do you speak (and at what level)? english,up to college level What country or area are you looking to work in and why? villa milange, because there are few health workers and also it will be easy to communicate with the people in chichewa and some in english therefore i will learn their portuguese language easily and faster hence communication problew will not take time to end. What countries have you worked in? only in my own country, malawi. What countries do you have a visa to work in? i dont have any visa yet. What field do you currently work in? health,in the hospital. What fields have you worked in before? secondary school teacher. What qualifications do you hold? Diploma in nursing and midwifery. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? i consider both,because you need to undergo formal education first for you to get the knowledge and skills and then you perform. Describe the benefits of working with others you learn more and it assist you to realise your shortfalls-there is nobody who knows everything. Describe the benefits of working alone you become a self starter and self confident that you know the job and if you demonstrate well,your employers may applaud and rely upon you when they leave the job for you alone.this builds trust in ynur bosses towards you. What was your worst working experience? When i worked with little resources.there is this other time when i was on night duty assisting a woman in labor ward and when she was about to deliver there was black out,there was no any source of light around apart from my phone.i finally delivered the baby using a phone. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? i have learnt to be a self starter and also ask where you are in doubt or dont know anything.i have also learnt to be hardworker,respect human life and also to persevere during hard times. What unique skills do you have? Imparting information to others up to the level of their understanding without finding problems,(communication skills). What would you consider as your 'dream job'? public health field worker or programme coordinator. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Working with peogle who dint know about subject matter on something but when taught they tend to practice it up until they become talented. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? When dealing with people older than you,they sometimes undermine your capabilities of the work to be done or service offered.
