• Participated and Co-Lead a Six Sigma Project on setting up Flow Lines, Work Flow and Work Instruction for Urgent Spares Cables Cards which significantly reduced the defects in Cable cards.

Accomplishments for Ryder Corporation:

• Reduced unauthorized carrier shipments by over 95% resulting in a $150, 000 per month savings in shipping costs.

• Monitored carrier invoices and eliminated tariffs and surcharges outside of contract agreements by over 90%. This effort saved the company over $15, 000 per month in non-negotiated tariffs.

INDUSTRIAL/MANUFACTURING ENGINEER / QUALITY ENGINEER II September 2000 to September 2001

Responsibilities for this high-tech manufacturing firm included implementing return-to-stock stations in all clean rooms, assisting with manufacturing projects, and addressing receiving logistics issues.
