What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for job in the field of social work. Since I have specialized in teaching, social work and counselling, my first priority is for counsellig jobs. I am equally interested in teaching field too and I have Diploma . I am ready to work in NGOs .

What nationality are you?

Nigeria

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I would like to work anywhere in Mal Dives because I heard from my friends that it is a good place to work and live. I know that employees are well paid there. More over, I heard that there are huge openings for nurses in Mal Dives.My wife is a staff nurse and I think that if I get an entry there, I can bring her also there and we can work and live there, serving the public

What countries have you worked in?

Gambia, Nigeria and Swaziland, presently working in Swaziland now

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I do not have a visa now towards any country. but i can get visa very easy if i get a job

What field do you currently work in?

At present I am working in the social work field, as a counsellor and social worker

What fields have you worked in before?

I have worked as an project manager with Orphanage home in the Gambia.

What qualifications do you hold?

Diploma

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both are equally important. I consider both as two sides of a coin. In the absence of one, the other will not work well

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working with others has its own advantages. mainly, collective efforts can achieve the targets easily. A single person may not have all the skills required to fulfill a task. In that situation other group members can contribute. Also when there is a team work, there will be lots of ideas put forwarded. Analysis is possible about all these ideas and the best way can be adopted for the solving of problem or task. It can also promote togetherness and we-feelin

Describe the benefits of working alone

We get absolute freedom when we work alone. While working in a team, the interests of all the members should be considered. In case if a particular decision is found wrong, all the members will have to suffer. But when working alone, we can take whole responsibility ourself whatever may be the result

What was your worst working experience?

If we are focused towards a long term goal and work hard for its achievement, success will follow us. Getting directed timely is also important.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Inter-personal skills, Rapport building, Counseling, Teaching, Observation, listening, managerial, understanding

What unique skills do you have?

I consider the job as the Head of the Department (Social Work) in a hospital, or a Professional Counsellor as my dream job.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Child counseling, family counseling, grief counseling, rehabilitation,

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Helping the youth

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

meeting people and helping them solves there problem
