I worked at Guarantee Fibre Glass as a Secretary, Male, Maldives, and Cyrex Computers (Pvt) Ltd, as a Project Secretary, Male Maldives, and worked as a computer teacher at Galolhu Madrasa, and Arabia School Male, Maldives. What countries do you have a visa to work in? I had visa for Maldives, but I came to Sri Lanka to deliver my second daughter. Now she is 5 years old. What field do you currently work in? Currently am staying at home with the two kids. Elder daughter is 10 years and second daughter is 5 years old. So wanted to join again for a job. What fields have you worked in before? As a Confidential Secretary, Project Secretary, Company Secretary in Sri Lanka, and worked as class teacher at Lyceum International School, Panadura Branch, Sri Lanka. What qualifications do you hold? G.C.E. Adv. Level and Ord Level with Distinction in English, and followed computer course at the Open University Nawala, Sri Lanka, Followed a Secretarial Course at Ladies College, Colombo. Describe the benefits of working with others As a Secretary, I have been working with a big staff. Team work is very interesting. Describe the benefits of working alone Actually, I don't think there is a benefit in workig alone. What was your worst working experience? When I was working as a Project Secretary to the Team Leader, some staff were not happy with me because I am a muslim. So they troubled me a lot. They deleted my bosses important letters which I am receiving through the mails, letters from the files. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Not only a one lesson I learnt. As a secretary, l learnt how to move with the society, manners, and how to handle the office. In Sri Lanka, lot of people looking at a Secretary in a wrong way. But it depends on the person who handle the job. What unique skills do you have? I have a very good typing speed, taking down the letters without any spelling errors, and fluent in English. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? I have to work with a big resposibility. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I can have lot of experience and will get a good salary.
