When I was doing my Rural Experience, I happened to be in a health centre, the largest in that rural town. During that month, there was a huge shortage of vaccines due to very bad weather that made transportation almost impossible. It was quite difficult trying to convince the mothers of children below the age of five, who had brought their children for the isual immunization programme. We were forced to refer the mothers to a health centre that was quite far but had a good stock of vaccines. A week later though, the health centre was re-stocked with all the vaccines and work continued as usual. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
