Summer jobWhat type of job are you looking for? I am looking for a summer job. I am from Kazakhstan. I would like to work as cashier, lifeguard, waitress, hostess, sales assistant and anything in service. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I am Russian. I also speak English(intermediate). What State are you looking to work in and why? I would like to work in Maryland because it's known as a tourist state. What field do you currently work in? I am a student. What fields have you worked in before? I worked as a waitress.Also I worked at the PR agency. What qualifications do you hold? I have High School Diploma. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Formal education is more valuable for me because all the skills should be trained. Describe the benefits of working with others First of all, you exchange information. Also at the same time you gain information from others. Working with others is always interesting and not boring. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone depends on your job title and character.If you are not so sociable person it's better to work alone. What was your worst working experience? When I was a waitress I had one accident. My guests left without paying for their meal. I was so confused and worried. So I had to pay from my paycheck. I was not happy at all. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? I learned that it is very important to be honest and nice with people. As long as you LOVE what you are doing and give yourself to work, you will be glad with your result and your job will keep bringing you joy. What unique skills do you have? According to my work experience, I can say that I never had problems with administration or my co-workers at work. I always make friends and I don't like conflicts. So I can surely say that I am a nice and positive person. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream work - an Engineer. I am studying Engineering and I really love it. Engineering brings a lot of good ideas to me and i think that it plays a great part in worlds economy and it makes me feel like i am a part of it too. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I love practical calculations and measures. All of it makes me a responsible person. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? I don't like that we use a bad equipment in our laboratories. I really think that we need a better opportunities that will make us better Engineers.
