Am a Physiotherapist with over 30 years of teaching and clinical experience in several european countires and in Japan.Have extensive experience in the education/starting new institutions providing Physiotherapy education. | Dear Sir, I am Miss Jeeha. I have completed my Bsc(hons)in Physiotherapy with mention first class first division. However, it is quite sad to note that in Mauritius people are not very much aware about this field and a good awareness campaign is very much needed. There is also a lack of jobs for physiotherapists. I form part of the second batch of physiotherapists trained at the University of Maurius. My friends who completed their course one year before me are still unemployed and this is a big issue for us. It would be kind if you could advise on this. Jeena, it is sad to ear that there is no demand for Physios in Mauritius. Is the course in Mauritius university recognised world wide? What are the options to go and work overseas? I am personnally thinking of doing the course in Mauritius (coming from abroad, it is a lot more affordable than doing it here). Would you recommend the course content and experience thought? |
