Academic Background: I detain a School Certificate, a Higher School Certificate and a degree in Physical Education obtained at the University of Reunion island. I am now doing a masters degree in educational leadership and management. Personal Experience: I have followed different coaching courses in various sports activities; namely athletics, boxing, football etc I am an experienced athlete and I have represented mauritius in athletics several times in long distance running. I still do practice athletics at a regional level. I coach a feminine basketball team in mauritius. I am an active member of the coaching staff of the jeu de lespoir in mauritius (on a voluntary basis). I am an active basketball player, and I play in a team in the 1st division of Mauritius.
