Both are like the 2 sides of same coin. without formal education you cannot shape up your skills and without the skills you cannot apply your formal education. But if have to choose 1, then it is the formal education because it is through your education that you understand your potentials. It helps us to broaden our own outlook, we get to learn from mistakes of others and also from success of others and we always have a support system.
