I have been a part time faculty,full timme faculty.assistant Co-ordinator and Co-ordinator of one of the Departments in my institution. What qualifications do you hold? M.A.BEd,CIEFL (PG certificate in the Teaching Of English) Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both are extremely precious features. Formal education teaches you the basics,puts you through rigoroused ,methodical training and imparts certain core values.It is this formal education that helps us understand ,evaluate and appreciate our intrinsic skills and utilise them to the maximum.Both skills and formal education draw asynergy from each other. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others helps us develop people skills,teaches us empathy,kindles team spirit and ultimately brings out the best in us. Describe the benefits of working alone I do not recommend the concept of working alone.However,there are certain extraordinary situations which require an individual to work alone.Working alone helps you concentrate better,take quick unbiased decisions and probably be more productive in ashorter span of time. What was your worst working experience? I have been passionate about my teaching.I put my heart and soul into whatever I do.But on one occasion,the management for no fault of mine pulled me up(along with afew other teachers) suddenly and mentioned something about a dress code that had been imposed without our knowledge.Though the Chairman apologized to us,we were hurting for a while. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Sincerity,dedication ,hard work and empathy will take you a long way. What unique skills do you have? Commendable communication skills,people skills and organisational skills. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? A job where respect is given to human dignity will be my dream job. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Since I am in the teachimng profession it is very gratifying to see your students become successful in front of your eyes and even remember to thank you for it. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? When you see students disrespecting time and ,money energy and their parents' good will I feel very dejected. |
