My position acts as the Regional Supervisor of Network Services for our offices in the southeast panhandle. I oversee our regions helpdesk and all network operations in the headquarters and eight regional offices. I serve as the technical lead and supervisor for a staff of three computer technicians and one network specialist. Aside from normal services our servers host accounting and payroll systems, web sites, e-commerce and multiple proprietary applications and databases used for scientific research. I was our departments Project Manger for its Exchange 2003 migration responsible for all aspects of planning, training, and rollout. I am currently the Active Directory Project Manger in charge of all aspects of the deployment. Furthermore I head our virtualization efforts which are currently projected to save the department over $600, 000 over the next three fiscal years in its initial stage.
