Wish to work in Mexico, was stationed there for work but have since completed the contract and am looking to relocate there permanently, have established family there What countries have you worked in? United States, Mexico, Canada What countries do you have a visa to work in? Mexico, and have dual citizenship with Canada and United States What field do you currently work in? Construction What fields have you worked in before? Bio-engineering, construction What qualifications do you hold? Am certified in Heavy Equipment operations (bobcat, excavators, scissorlifts, manhoists, forklifts) as well as first aid Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I believe formal education is key to successful employment first, then the practical side will follow, making for a more successful employee Describe the benefits of working with others There is always the opportunity to learn and gain new insights regarding employment, everyone has an opinion and has knowledge that can be shared. Describe the benefits of working alone I would have to say that by working alone, it makes a person more concentrated on the task at hand, there is more pride in their work as well as knowing that they alone are responsible for mistakes/progresses made. What was your worst working experience? Working in a Fish plant What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Loyalty to a company is key, to start with a company, learn with a company makes not only the company stronger, it makes more valuable employees. The best manager is one that started from the bottom. What unique skills do you have? Certified in many areas of construction mostly machinery but have also been in the fishing industry for many years and like to teach these skills to people of Mexico to teach them to become more self sufficient. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? To be able to design and build houses for Mexico that are built "green" to help offset the high cost of living in Mexico, due to the low wages. I am into solar power, hydro power and am dabbling into wind generation for electricity. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? I would like to teach how to build houses to maximize the uses of the sun and wind, I believe these sources are under utilized in many third world countries.
