I have a TESOL Teachers Certificate and the TESOL International Teachers Certificate. I am a native speaker of English and have 12 years experience as an English Teacher
Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?
I think that both are important. Formal Education will give you the basic knowhow but the skills you acquire only through practice. In a country like Mexico, due to the general situation of the country, sometimes you acquire the skills first and if you are able you get the formal education later.
Describe the benefits of working with others
you get to know more about yourself and how to work with others. You learn how to be aware of the necesities of other people and how to adapt these necesities to your own experiences. You become more tolerant.

i think to some extent it makes you or should make you more responsible for what you do.
What was your worst working experience?
I was working at a school and a coordinator arrived and for some reason we just couldnt get along. We were like oil and water. It was very difficult to work under those conditions to say the least.
What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?
As a teacher your first duty to the student is to do every thing possible for them to learn and above all have respect for the students you have in your classes
What unique skills do you have?
For me its easy to establish good working relationships with my students without getting personal
What would you consider as your 'dream job'?
I think it would be having my own language school.
What are the most interesting aspects of your field?
You have the opportunity to know alot of different people
Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?
Actually, i havent found anything that isnt interesting about teaching
