| Job mess, I need to know where I can go to find information to help and how I sh Background Information: I work for a contractor company that is contracted to a large retail store. My concern lies within the company that my company is contracted by. I have two friends as well as my mom who is involved in this situation, so as you can see there is not much that ties me in directly, it is still personal. They work in the customer service department. Well as I have witnessed first hand and heard second hand, their manager in customer service is emotionally and verbally abusive. He belittles his employees in front of customers, he snaps at them, manipulates and takes advantage of them, starts gossip and slander around the store about them, and has told other managers that "he hates working with women" when in fact all of his employees are women. He has also lied on "job grading" (he would give a horrible grade to an employee based on "customer complaints" or "associate complaints" and will not be able to back up the claims and the people he does this too are oddly the ones that get the most customer or associate praises. He has made at least 3-4 of his 7 employees cry several times, one case in which was not even job related. He has told one of his employees that the people she works with all talk bad about her behind her back when this is not true. He has lied to me on several occasions, claiming that someone has called him and told him that all I do is sit in that department and talk, which is false. That department I do walk by (because the maintenance room is in the back room behind the department) but I do not stop and spend my time there, in fact I talk to my friends there mainly outside of work. On top of that he is selective when it comes to customers IF he helps a customer. To most customers he is incredibly rude, but if there is a young blonde customer, he rushes to help and gives whatever the customer wants even if it is scamming the store (which there has been an instance of). He has had many customer complaints that have been sent to corporate as well as a few complaints from associ |
