What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

This interest more stems from the fact that i am half Moroccan and I am looking forward to working in Morocco. They are various reasons, one of them is of course, Morocco being developing at a rapid speed, I see various fields where I can contribute with my skills, education and creativity. Its always been my dream, to see morocco financially powerful and economically sound, yet preserving its rich and beautiful culture.

What countries have you worked in?

I live in Saudi Arabia, and I am working here in Jeddah.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I have a residence permit of Saudi Arabia, where I work too, and India as well. But if I get a work in Morocco,I can change my visa status.

What field do you currently work in?

My educational qualifications are more focused on the financial and accounting aspects. But I am currently working in sales and customer services.

What fields have you worked in before?

I have worked in accounting field, sales, marketing and customer service.

What qualifications do you hold?

I hold a Masters degree in Finance and Accounting (MSc.) from the London South Bank University in United Kingdom.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I consider both to be equally important, if we want to build a polished society for the well being of public at large. Skills are generally inbuilt, but with formal education, they are more refined. Education is the basic and the most important right of every human being

Describe the benefits of working with others

It is an ideal way of working. Generally while working alone on an assignment, a single person, try as much as he can, will see things only from his perspective and come up with opinions that are biased by his experiences or thoughts. But while working with others, people tend to interact more, which leads to pooled up creativity, efficient performance, social skills are polished, confidence is built up. Patience is tested and controlled, and we learn from each other. Every person has skills and talents unique to them, these skills come out and are evident, specially when working with others.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Every situation has its own pros and cons. While working alone, usually the person’s concentration level is more focused on the task in question without any unnecessary distractions which normally can be found in group works. While working alone, there is peace of mind and when a person is at peace, he gives out his best which is generally reflected in his assignment.

What was your worst working experience?

I am grateful to never have experienced any bad moments in any of my work.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

I have learned to never mix personal life with the professional life. Both are two different things, and we should not let one of them take precedence over the other. We should be honest to ourselves and the responsibilities given to us and to never stoop to a low level where by, we take advantage of others by showering them with compliments or gifts to get any of our work done. It’s only our sincerity, integrity and right timing that pays off in the end.

What unique skills do you have?

Apart from the educational skills,I consider myself to be honest, firm, having leadership qualities, observant, thinks quickly, creative with independent ideas, reliable and trustworthy, responsible and extroverted. I am an effective communicator both written and oral. I adapt well to changes and pressures in work places, I thrive in changing situations and that keeps me energetic.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

My dream job would be working in the interest of the society as a whole. Just working for satisfying my own career needs is not enough. I would love to be where I could contribute my skills and time for the development of society in the broader sense, more focused on the financial and the economical sector.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The diversity and the scope of creativity is one of the interesting aspects of my field. There is always possibility for new research in the area of finance and economics with new concepts, thus always keeping us on our toes ready to explore new ideas rather than just being stagnant in our level of work.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

I don’t find anything that is least interesting in my field.

If you are interviewed and appointed by a company, when could you be ready to come down personally for face to face interview?

I would be in Morocco and available for interview in person from 22nd July 2009 on wards.

How can potential employers contact you?

You can e-mail me on my email address. m.kmaqbool@yahoo.com

I would provide my telephone number in our further conversation.
