You can go to school and read the books all day but until you actually have the hands on skills, you haven't really learned the true way of taking care of people. Describe the benefits of working with others Working with others is very rewarding because each person is unique in their own way. Each individual has so much to offer to others that can help them to become and be a better person. Working with others always also builds bonds and friendships that last a lifetime. Describe the benefits of working alone Working alone is not really something that is done very often when you are a nurse. Good patient care is always being there for them and helping them to be the best they can be. If working alone does arise in a job then the time to mentally focus on better ways of doing things is always important. What was your worst working experience? Being a nurse, I have never really had any bad experiences taking care of my patients. The occasional violent patient that has mental issues is probably the only bad experience I can think of but it always resolves itself. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? That everyone is a person and they are to be treated like they are your mother, father, brother, sister, aunt, etc. when caring for them. What unique skills do you have? I am very good with people of all ages. I truly enjoy helping people and love to constantly learn new things. I am also very good at educating people. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job at this time of my life is to work in Morocco. I want to experience the culture and help take care of the people. Pediatrics is where my heart lies in the nursing field because I feel such a reward when taking care of children. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Meeting new people and communicating with them. Learning to be versatile and being able to adapt to new things all the time. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? I am very interested in the culture and would love to learn from the people here. How can potential employers contact you? I can be contacted by email at melonie66@gmail.com |
