I speak English fluently but am also learning Portuguese What country or area are you looking to work in and why? I would like to work in Mocambique because it's my parents land and most of my relatives are in Mocambique. What countries have you worked in? I have worked in Malawi. What countries do you have a visa to work in? None. What field do you currently work in? I was working as a Finance and Adiministration Officer up to October,2010 in Malawi. What fields have you worked in before? All of my life worked in Accounts and Finance mostly. But in one company, I partly worked as Marketinf officer. What qualifications do you hold? Book Keeping and Accounts up to Advanced Level but my certificates are up to Intermediate level RSA/ Pitman Also was studying Diploma in Computer Engineering but did not write the finall exams. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I value very much skills because I have worked with some people who were more qualified than me yet they could not produce. If you know skills you may join any organisation and will not stuck. As I am, am able to produce Accounts up to Balance sheet. I have used SAGE line and FMCG Accounting packages in my life. Describe the benefits of working with others I find it worthy to work with others because you may exchage your jobs for cross checking. You may miss a figure which your friend will be able to find it. When you are sick or you want to go on leave, your friends will be able to do your work. Describe the benefits of working alone If you woprk alone most of the times you concetrate much as a result you produce in time. What was your worst working experience? My worst experience was that when I worked in a certain organisation and was alone in the Finance section, my boss could not appreciate my work. Therefore if I make a mistake with a figure whereby I had noone to check me he could blast me as if I did it deliberately. I was crossed. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? My Carrer is the most important one in the organisation, like for Donors to continue funding need to see the Financial Report. So Without a Finance man many organisation did not stay long. What unique skills do you have? Apart from Finance I also have some skills in computer of which some don't have. I also know how to communicate well with people I work with. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? With my skills am able to have a job as a Financial Officer depending on the structure of the organisation. Like Americans can give you a small title yet geting a good salary. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? My most interesting aspects are all types of reconcilliations. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Last interesting aspects are working late.
