What countries do you have a visa to work in? Easy to get visa for any southern African country and for South Africa and Swaziland Visa isnt required. I can easily get work permit. What field do you currently work in? Auditing (I am an internal auditor for an international non-government organization) What fields have you worked in before? Before I worked as an external auditor for KMPG Mozambique. What qualifications do you hold? 1. I hold Honors degree in Business Studies from Africa University in Zimbabwe. 2. I am pursuing CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) at the institute of internal auditors south Africa to graduate soon. 3. I am pursuing second year of Master of Accounting and Auditing at Sainth Thomas University. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both Formal education and skills because my Bachelor Degree (HONOS) in Business Studies covered every aspects os business and I easily coped to auditing with the experience from KPMG which is a big university for auditing. Now I am very knowlwdgeable in auditing becasue I am pursuing a certification in internal auditing and I am also pursuing master degree in auditing and auditing. Describe the benefits of working with others Team work has advantage of synery. More creativity is motivated when you see how others work. Fast learing is also available when working with others. Describe the benefits of working alone when working alone, creativity is enhanced when you encounter situations that require a solution. You definitely think out of box. What was your worst working experience? working with supervisors who do not know any principles of people management or staff motivation. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? That as long as we want and devote our time to learn, we can become the professionals that we dream of being. What unique skills do you have? Mix of management, marketing, accounting and auditing skills due to the type of the degrees I have. I have been lucky to have wide range of knowledge and skills. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? 1.audit manager/supervisor 2.finance director What are the most interesting aspects of your field? advising others how to better use their resources and maximize returns by identifiying areas of weaknesses and recomending the best ways of solving the problems. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? too much travel but I can still cope with it.
