What type of job are you looking for?

I'm looking for a job as a chef.

What nationality are you?

Kenyan

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak English and Kiswahili

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I'm looking to work in Mozambique,maputo for the advertised job of a chef.

What countries have you worked in?

Rwanda.

What field do you currently work in?

I'm a chef in a 5 star lodge in masai mara,Kenya.

What fields have you worked in before?

In the culinary, in all departments of the kitchen.

What qualifications do you hold?

certificates and diploma in food production.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Skills because it can make someone to rely on him/her self.Formal education is good, but it mostly makes someone to wait for a white coller job.

Describe the benefits of working with others

It helps in gaining more experience and also very enjoyable.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Concentration is high.

What was your worst working experience?

When I was a student in a college and I went for an attachment in an hotel where trainees were treated badly.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

To have interest in what you are doing.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Executive chef in a world known 5 star chain of hotels like Hilton or Intercontinental.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Guests are happy with my job.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

when guests complain about service
