I am currently the hospital Administrator at Bonda Mission Hospital, a 172 bedded hospital in Manicaland Province in Zimbabwe. What fields have you worked in before? Has worked a Diet therapist and also in The Zimbabwe Prison Services as the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics. Also worked as a Nutrition Monitor for a non governmental organisation. What qualifications do you hold? Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma in Health Services Management, Diploma in Hospital Food Services Management, Certificate in Selling and Sales Management, Class 4 Driver's Licence. Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? All are very important because formal training instilled the basic knowledge of how to perform my duties well and experience assists me to deal with any form of eventuality. Describe the benefits of working with others There is power in numbers and therefore enjoys the luxury of a multitude of sharing ideas, criticism and experiences. This makes one a better person. Describe the benefits of working alone You tend to concerntrate on your work and there is no likelihood of obstruction from productive work. The tendency of bureaucracy in decision making is reduced. What was your worst working experience? When employees threatened to strike over bad working conditions in 2008 which were beyond my control. I felt helpless and useless. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Everyone at the workplace is important and perform your to the best of your knowledge. What unique skills do you have?
