Looking for International Jobs

What type of job are you looking for?

A secretarial job/Administrative job/travel job/ plant operator for a mining company

What nationality are you?

Namibian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English, Afrikaans,High Level French and portuguse Average level

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

well any area in any country, i dont really have a specific country or location, for me it's all about exploring, learning new things at a different level and to enhance my experience.but if i have to chooce i will like to work in Mozambique,Malawi, Dubai, Austrailia,any where really to me it doesnt matter, because where greener pastures comes i go.

What countries have you worked in?

Only in Namibia though!

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

None so far, but prepared to arrange one of necesssary

What field do you currently work in?

i am currently employed as a travel Coordinator and a Receptionist

What fields have you worked in before?

In the security industry as a Saco Clerk and Admin Clerk

What qualifications do you hold?

well am a matriclant, currently doing my diploma in Office Management and Information technology at UNISA (Second Year) certificate in computer literate, Morden Business Writting, travel Manangement course.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

skills, because one need a skilled person to accomplish the work that need to be done and you need to understand the type of job/work being done on whow, why to complish a certain type of job/duty. with a skilled person one doesnt need to train the person too much due to past experience and it will actually cut down on company costs.

Describe the benefits of working with others

working with others is a very good way of not being stressfull when doing a certain job or when expected to acomplish a task, becaus i believe in team work and i get on long very well with people,

Describe the benefits of working alone

though i am a multi task person and tend to work alone mostly because at this moment i work a lone with no team work and i get on very well and all my work gets done at a specific time rate as needed. i put in extra hours on completing my work especially if i have a little time frame for a certain deadline.

What was your worst working experience?

well at this stage none/ but i believe that one need to plan your working schedule to avoid such experience not that i am perfect but with good planning all will be in order

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Well i have learnent how to get a long with people, solve problems or disputes amongst ourselves with out goint to any supervisors, have learnt that it is very important to schedule your tasks that needs to be accomplished through out the day so that i dont miss any deadlines or meetings. as they say a customer is always rite no matter what,i have learnt to cut down on company costs, eg. with the travels that i normally arrange, i used the cheapest route for my customers to travel that include accommodation, rental cars as well.

What unique skills do you have?

Developed ability to work in a fast pace atmosphere Maintained excellent customer relations and developed customer rapport Diplomatically resolved customers complaints on as-needed basis Ability to follow instructions well and make decisions with no supervision. Maintained all record keeping procedures without error Effectively developed telephone communication skills and consistently met quotas

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

My ideal job one where my knowledge and skills are put to good use. A job where i will learn and grow as a perso ans an employee and iam given challenges that test my potential.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

well as a travel coordinator i tend to meet new people from all over the world as they are all from different back grounds. and that when ever my customer has missed their flights i get a call out to go and sort out the problem as i am always on standby and i get to work from home in the weekends on the laptop. it's fuuny that i enjoy every bit of my work and i dont get tired of it because everyday is a new day with a new thing to do.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

well the only time is that when i dont have enough or no customer that are travelling as i get bored and dont have other work to do but in the mean time i get to help the PA secretary of my company.

Why do you want to leave your current job?

I believe that i had reached the ceiling in my previous job.I needed to make a career move and decide that i would take the opportunity to spend some time fulfilling my drean and travel and looking for a new position in other countries.
