Technologist and research assistant

What nationality are you?

Ugandan

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak English and Spanish, i am fluent in both languages

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Namibia or Botswana

What countries have you worked in?

I have worked in Uganda

What field do you currently work in?

I am in microbiology department

What fields have you worked in before?

haematology, blood transfusion, clinical chemistry and microbiology

What qualifications do you hold?

Bsc.clinical microbiology, diploma in medical laboratory techniques

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Skills because these prepare for the real world challenges

Describe the benefits of working with others

Any task shared the burden is half and since most working environments have other workers , the interpersonal relationship is quite important

Describe the benefits of working alone

independence in taking decision

What was your worst working experience?

When i was unable to do my work because of lack of basic equipment to do the job

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Love what you are doing, do not love what you are paid

What unique skills do you have?

naturally i have always been able to mobilize my colleagues(leadership skills

I am fascinated by the world of microorganisms
