Mr Givean C Samulandela

Communication (PR, Reseacher, Consultant, Laison officer, etc)

What type of job are you looking for?

I am looking for one of these jobs; Communication reseacher, Manager, Press laison officer, Public Relation officer, Communication officer, and a Spin Doctor.

What nationality are you?

I am a Namibian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speack English and Lozi, at both regional and National level.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I would like to work in Namibia because I work close to my family. But if need be outside Namibia, I can work beyond Namibian boders because I am mobile and would like to interculture and mingle with people from other cultures and see how they do business.

What countries have you worked in?

I have only worked in Namibia.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I do not posses any visa of any country.

What field do you currently work in?

I am currently unemployed due to the fact that I am still studying towards my degree in Communication.

What fields have you worked in before?

I have worked as a volonteer in Community development, and civic education.

What qualifications do you hold?

I hold a certificate in Horticulture, Civic Education, and training of trainers (TOT). And will posses a Degree in Communication in 2012.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Skills, because I like praticals than theory. I do believe what is being done by a hand can not be forgoten by ones mind.

Describe the benefits of working with others

It is very difficulty to persuade a group of people. Creativity is easly shared. Common mistakes are analysed and corrected. Easy to learn other people's culture.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Working alone gives one time to tackle issues and problems on his/her own peece. Teachs one how to deal with pressure and dedlines.

What was your worst working experience?

I realised that people do not want to accept new technology and it is very hard to change them. It is very hard to accept one's culture. Prejudice and discrimination takes power.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

I have learnt that communication is the string that holds societies together. It is good to accept other cultures and view things on a global level. It is best to work with time, and always beat it when sumiting something.

What unique skills do you have?

I have unique presentation skills and creativity.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Communication Reseacher or Spin Doctor.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Effective Interactions, rhetoric analysis and criticism, marketing, web communication, and gender issues.

What defines you?

Princeple, diginity, intergrety, and honor, hustle, royal, and respect.
