What type of job are you looking for?

medical doctor position .(general practitioner)

What nationality are you?

am a congolese from democratic republic of congo.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

am fluent in french,swahili,lingala,english and able to ear tswana.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

am able to work in a rural area as am actually working there in botswana and i can as well work in town .my main target is to help patients from rural or from town there is no much difference.

What countries have you worked in?

i worked home DR congo.then i signed a contract in namibia with catholic health services at oshikuku hospital.for now am in botswana finishing my contract in 4 coming month.

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

none apart from my country. in botswana we have only exemption certificate for 3 year contract not work permit visa.

What field do you currently work in?

am in the maternity and surgical ward.but running also safe male circumcision program for hiv prevention and universal HAART for pregnant womens.

What fields have you worked in before?

during my stay in botswana i went through rotations in maternity and neonatology unit combined.then went to paeds .after i worked in casualty department.i went in female medical ward.out patient department for a short period then went back to maternity and surgical team .

What qualifications do you hold?

academically am medical doctor (MBchB)university of lubumbashi congo.am having also somes certificates:basic life support (southern african council of ressuscitation),burns from ANZBA,kitso(hiv training from HAVARD_botswana),safe male cicumcision jhpiego & ministry of health botswana,tuberculosis (pierre & marrie curry TB center)...

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

formal education is for the start a way to enter in the field then come the skills that we acquire through daily practice first personal the in exchange of experiences with others co-workers in different field with centered human interest.i can say that no scientific growing if we cannot go through formal education like continual medical educations ,mortality morbidity meetings,distance learning...

Describe the benefits of working with others

firstly our field require exchange of experiences with others stakeholders because human centered interest is global.social interaction,good doctors are good team players because human body is complex.gain good communications skills and it give a kind of security to hower patients to see good interacions among us as takeholders.

Describe the benefits of working alone

its help me to focus on a will of hippocratic oath i will use my knowledge to benefit people's health.it empower me on personal accountability vis a vis my patients on the global system were we are working.it allow me to climb medical chalanges on my daily practices.

What was your worst working experience?

i got a busy nigth in theater 6 c/s and collapse due fatigue.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

is to keep myself and my colleagues informed of new developments,and ensure that poor standards or bad practices are exposed so that we achieve good standard of practice.

What unique skills do you have?

easy adaptability to any working condition and social as well.easy to make friends.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

if i can achieve to be gynecologist specialist and be lecturer at university.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

we are using ower knowledge to benefit people's health.human is ower first concern throughout is global aspects:social ,mental,physical .

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

when as a doctor am helpless and hopeless infront of my patient dying.

what my favorites way of spending time?

singing at church,reading books(medical ,social ,finances...) and gymnastics..cooking .
