What type of job are you looking for?

Anything related to HIV or community development work

What nationality are you?

Namibian

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

Oshiwambo and English (both Fluent)

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Either in Namibia or SADC because those are most country that affect more by HIV

What countries have you worked in?

Only in Namibia

What field do you currently work in?

As a program officer implementing HIV activities in the Ministry of defence force and safety and security for about 4years now

What fields have you worked in before?

I was a HIV counselor for the Military persone with their partner before I become a program officer

What qualifications do you hold?

Bachelor degree in HIV/AIDS Management

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both are more valuable because without a formal education you can acquire skill hence both are valuable

Describe the benefits of working with others

Working alone you can't grow it really good to work as a team and you can learn from others.

You can complete your work without input from anyone..no delaying

What was your worst working experience?

Since i am working in the field of changing people behaviour acting is one of the part I really struggle with it.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

You can not change someone behaviour unless he/she is willing to change.

What unique skills do you have?

A counselor by nature

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

To be a social worker in future

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Working with human life and fighting to change people behaviuor

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Assisting people to change their behavior that put most of people at risk of being infected by HIV
