looking for a job as a nutritionist /program officer in nutrition and health departments of humanitarian organizations

Zimbabwean

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English, ndebele and shona

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

i want to work in Namibia ,because it is closer to my home country and it has a lot of organizations that deal with humanities and aiding the vulnerable households

social sciences{vulnerable women empowerment in zimbabwe}

social sciences, nutrition

What qualifications do you hold?

BSc Family and Consumer Sciences (food science and nutrition} Advanced level Ordinary level

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Both are valuable , because you will need formal education to learn the skills in which you will be able to understand and comprehend knowledge for you to be able to work well

Describe the benefits of working with others

-team work-you assign tasks to each other and there by getting the job/work done in time -lessens the work load -acquire more knowledge from the members that you will be working with which in turn makes you enlightened on other departments and what they do

Describe the benefits of working alone

-you get to work independently , and make decisions on the work/projects that you will be working on -you get to do your work in time , there is no time for procrastination -learn more as you get to research on all topics alone unlike in working with others were you assign tasks to each other

What was your worst working experience?

working with people who could not meet deadlines and who were not serious with their work

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

-planning your schedule well in advance makes your work load easier -team work is important in every workplace -communication in the workplace is the key to a good working relationship with your co workers and superiors

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

COUNTRY DIRECTOR FOR ACT NAMIBIA

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

helping the needy and vulnerable people around the world traveling and meeting and interacting with different people

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

seeing vulnerable children in unbearable states yet not being able to do anything about it
