Zimbabwean

English excellently and Shona as home language

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

Namibia or Botswana

What countries have you worked in?

Zimbabwe and currently working in South Africa

What countries do you have a visa to work in?

I can work in my hme country Zimbabwe and hold a visa to work in South Africa valid until end 2014.

What field do you currently work in?

Land Surveying

What qualifications do you hold?

A National Diploma In Land Surveying

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

Formal because it involves both theoretial and practical aspects that enhence one's understanding of the basics of the practical world. It becomes easy to master practical skills thereafter.

Describe the benefits of working with others

Sharing ideas, tasks, etc with others makes the world enjoyable. In most cases knowledge is shared and this enriches individuals and improves problem solving abilities and productivity. Division of labour makes difficult tasks attainable quite easily

Describe the benefits of working alone

Being alone enables one to concentrate on task at hand fully. There is proper planning and self assesment and evaluation with goals that you set for yoursef with noone interfering

What was your worst working experience?

Working with limited resources with people who do not understand the scope of work involved but who wanted results at the end.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

Paying attention to detail and instructions and proper planning before embarking on anything.

What unique skills do you have?

Fast learning and critical thinking

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Being the head of a big and professional survey firm

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

It is both mentally and physically challenging. You are required to solve real world problems both in the office and in the field.

What are the least interesting aspects of your field?

Repeatition of same procedures time and again.

Why do you want to move from you current employment?

To meet new challenges in the form of people and environment, and an improved professional set up,
