Responsible for installation leading, planning, estimating, coordinating, executing and reporting (Wateen & Warid) of level 1 and level 2. Responsibilities: • HUAWEI Optical Transmission SDH (OSN-1500/3500/7500), DWDM (BWS1600G) networks configuration, commissioning, surveillance at HUAWEI iManager T2000. • Fault management & event/incident handling on HUAWEI iManager T2000. • Network Implementation, Surveys, and Design & Commissioning of sites. • Optical fiber construction & laying in metro & long haul. Making sure to maintain required standards for fiber laying with precautions. • Cut over Plans & execution for new sites to bring them into Existing networks. • Network Monitoring, Alarm handling & QoS of nation wide network for customers. • PAC & PAT with link testing of Transmission systems with vendors. • Provisioning of Managed Services of Wateen (SDH/DWDM) network & customer satisfaction on Leased lines for WiMax, GSM, FTTH & MPLS/Ethernet/Data services. • SDH, DWDM Network Optimization / Assessment services. • Planning & provisioning of dedicated circuits for GPON/FTTH connectivity. • Coordination with vendor (HUAWEI) for all network related Tasks & issues. • Coordination with Wateen NOC(Network Operation Center) Fault management, Troubleshooting of Alarms and Management & supervision of Regional Transmission O&M Engineer & Assistant Engineers(Wateen). • Coordination with other operators for site sharing activities to reduce the cost for our upcoming projects. • Analyzing of daily, weekly & monthly reports of network. • Review of maintenance contracts to finalize SLA, warranty services and scope of work. Installation & commissioning of USF (universal service Fund) sites in remote areas of Pakistan with complete PAC & PAT. • Conduct pre-PAT & PAT for USF project sites & cutovers for these sites to bring them into existing Network. • Updating of trouble tickets, health check of transmission systems, KPI reporting. • Coordination with internal & external teams for optical fiber construction to make plans further for connecting our transmission systems. • Planning & Execution of software upgradation activities of network when recommended by HUAWEI.
