Larrigan Bezuidenhout (41.198.48.196) -

What type of job are you looking for?

I am very interested in nature so I suggest a Tour Guide career.

What nationality are you?

I am a Namibian.

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

I speak and write English and Afrikaans very well. I can speak a fairly poor German.

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I love Namibia but would not mind working in other countries if I have to. I have travelled most of Namibia so most of my experience I developed in Namibia.

What countries have you worked in?

I have travelled to Livingstone,Zambia to show tourists the Victoria Falls. I have travelled through Botswana camping with tourists.

What field do you currently work in?

I am into the tourism industry and wish to futher my studies as well.

What fields have you worked in before?

I have been a Licensing Officer for Natis and for the Municipality of Swakopmund. I worked as a Dealer in the Casino. I have helped my dad in the Construction Business.I worked as a Rep and a Salesman.I have also was a Driver as well as a Deliveryman in the Lubricant sector. I have experience in Welding and some Mechanical work.

What qualifications do you hold?

I have certificates in Flora, Fauna, Ornithology, First Aid, Ethnology and Gr 12.

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I would prefer skills , because when you go to futher your studies with the skills that you already have, it just eases the theoratical side of your studies.

Describe the benefits of working with others

When working with others you always have help around you when you get stuck with a task.

Describe the benefits of working alone

When working alone, you are your own boss and you tend to do every task at its best not having somebody holding you back as in working in groups and you are self Dependant.

What was your worst working experience?

It would be when I first started out in the Construction Industry.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

You must enjoy what you do,you learn from your mistakes, dont do the same mistaskes twice or try not to and just never give up.

What unique skills do you have?

I tend to have the ability for people to just like me wherever I work or worked with people.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

Just to become a free lance tour guide in Namibia with having at least two tours of at least two weeks in a month. It would make me happy and that was not asked for much.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

Having the knowledge other than just saying that is an 'Elephant' but expanding on not just saying it is an Elephant.etc.

Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?

The fact that you are responsible for peoples lives when travelling all these long distances.

Please replace this with a question of your own

Why dont the tend to keep our ravel roads in condtion like they should be?

How can potential employers contact you?
