| Answers: Can I be fired from my job, if I'm off, taking care of a sick parent in I live in Nebraska and work for a company that is a real pain in the azz! My elderly father has some health issues and needs my care for maybe the next month. Since I am only part time at my job (30 hours a week) they say that I am not eligible for a FMLA. (family medical leave) I have been with this company for many years, but IMO they could care less. I lost my mom last year, and my sister can't take care of herself, yet alone my dad. I don't know what to do. |
