Many businesses are finding it tough to hire the kind of workers they need. There may be plenty of workers in the market, but too few have the education and skills needed to do the job, which bodes well for students and graduates of Creighton University. Despite the loss of about 8 million jobs since the recession began, over 60% of businesses say its difficult to find qualified workers, especially in information technology, engineering, nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy, and other highly skilled fields. |
