What type of job are you looking for?

I am currently seeking part time work in The Netherlands. I am looking for Bar or Waitressing work as I find it suited to when I am studying.

What nationality are you?

Irish

What languages do you speak (and at what level)?

English and Irish at a Native level and German at a basic level

What country or area are you looking to work in and why?

I am looking for work in The Netherlands because I have come here to study for one year.

What countries have you worked in?

Ireland

What field do you currently work in?

My previous job I work in the public sector.

What fields have you worked in before?

I have worked in Sales, Childcare, Public Servant, Bar Work, Waitressing and I am currently studying a Business Hounours Degree.

What qualifications do you hold?

I have completed my Leaving Certificate and I am in the process of getting a Bachelor of Arts Hounours Degree in Marketing

Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why?

I think that both are equally as important and valuable. While I have learned alot from formal education the skills that I got thought in a workplace I will never forget.

Describe the benefits of working with others

In all of my previous jobs I have worked part as a team, I find this great because it creates a good working environment.

Describe the benefits of working alone

Tasks get done quicker when working alone as there is no decisions to be made as part of a team.

What was your worst working experience?

As of yet I haven't had a worst working experience, I have enjoyed the jobs I've done and there have never been problems.

What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career?

The most important lesson I have learned is to be punctual, confident, hard working and polite. I find that taking these four factors into a work environment gives me the advantage of doing me job effective and efficient.

What unique skills do you have?

I work extremly well with all people that I meet in the work place including customers, fellow staff, suppliers and my superiors. I create a good strong relationship with everybody and this ensure's that my job is done correctly.

What would you consider as your 'dream job'?

My dream job would be to set up different Marketing Companies worldwide and that would take a different marketing approach than ordinary firms in this sector.

What are the most interesting aspects of your field?

The most interesting aspects of the collage course I am studying are, Management Accounting and Cost Accounting, Ecconimics, Markeitng Communications, Consumer Psychology for Marketing.

Wjat are the least interesting aspects of your field?

I dont't think there are any aspects of my course that aren't interesting, I had choose this course because I found all the subjects interesting.

What do you hope to achieve this year?

My goals for theis year is to learn how to speak Dutch. Achieve remarkable grades in my course. Settle into a part time job. Experience the Dutch culture.
