Retail, Bar, Cafe Coffee Shop work wantedWhat type of job are you looking for? Hi, I am looking for a retail/bar/coffee shop job in Amsterdam. I have a huge amount of retail and customer service experience and consider myself a great people person. I have lived in Holland for close to 5 months in 2009 and then came back to Australia but have wanted to go back to Holland ever since.. What nationality are you? I am Australian, born here but my dad is from England so I have a british passport which entitles me to work and live in Holland for an unlimited amount of time. What languages do you speak (and at what level)? I speak english fluently and a bit of Italian, 3 years learning in school. What country or area are you looking to work in and why? Amsterdam or Holland. I love holland so much, Lived there in 2009 and have wanted to go back ever since my return to Australia. What countries have you worked in? Only Australia, Did a artist residency in Holland in 2009 though. What countries do you have a visa to work in? European countries. I have a dual citizenship from Britain as my father was born there. What field do you currently work in? Marketing and sales. What fields have you worked in before? Sales, Customer service, Retail operations, Customer Liaison, Database maintenance What qualifications do you hold? Marketing Diploma (in progress) Retail ops Cert 3 Photography Cert 3 Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? I think my skills speak for them selves with out the education to back them. I am a genuinely nice and helpful person which I think people can see when they speak andd converse with me. Describe the benefits of working with others I love to work with people. Talking to people is what makes work fun and teaches us things about ourselves. Working in a team means we can all put our ideas together and come up with the best outcome for the business. Describe the benefits of working alone Maybe easier to make decisions. What was your worst working experience? I worked in a marble company and was treated badly by my employers. They had a minimal amount of respect for people, swore at us all the time and lied about work conditions. It was a bad experience. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? To work your hardest and things will come back to you. I am a firm believer in this and I follow this principle always. What unique skills do you have? I am extemely personable and have a great repore with customers. I view myself as very helpful and will always do whatever possible to help a customer or a fellow workmate. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working in Amsterdam, Dutch people and dutch life is for me. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? Talking to people. What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
