My ideal position would be in a bar/hotel environment, as I believe this would be the best way for me to gain understanding within the language as I would be working in an environment where I would have many different types of people. Bar work, Sales and customer contact centres What qualifications do you hold? 8 Standard Grade passes (all 3 or above) 2 Highers in German and Physical Education 2 Intermediate 2's in Modern Studies and Art Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Education is excellent as it allows you to cover much information over many subjects. It is also a very quality if you have shown through education that you can and will learn information. Skills are for me, the most important as you learn on your feet and skills you learn, you will always hold Describe the benefits of working with others It is good to work in a team and develope new skills through others aswell as showing others what you excell at. It is also good to work in a team as you can develope good working relationships with each other. It also spreads the workload Describe the benefits of working alone You have your own tasks to undertake, and you can achieve your own targets. It is all up to you to succeed so it is good to be able show showcase yourself as being an excellent worker What was your worst working experience? When working in the energy market it was often the case that a lot of new employees wouldn't make the grade as a sales person and we would often have to let them go. This was difficult as I was responsible for training them and helping them progress as a seller, but it if safe to say that not everyone is capable of selling in the energy market. What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Always to listen to ways to improve, this is very important to progress and ultimatley to be successful What unique skills do you have? I am confident in any situation I am put in and will work as hard as I can to succeed. I am also keen to progress my own skills and I am very keen to learn. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? Working as a youth football coach, I hope to start to gain my badges to coach within the next few years What are the most interesting aspects of your field? In the energy field it was simply to achieve profitable targets What are the least interesting aspects of your field?
