I’m currently completing my Graduation Assignment at FrieslandCampina and working as an consultant in the successful implementation of the companies new software system. I was part of the research and choice of the new software and analysis in why the current system is unsuccessful. My placement will last until the end of July/August but as I’m free on the weekends I would like to add some more experience and knowledge to my resume. What nationality are you? I have dual citizenship: Canadien and Polish What languages do you speak (and at what level)? Fluent in Polish and English Currently Learning French and Spanish What country or area are you looking to work in and why? The Netherlands, since Im currently living in Arnhem, NL Canada, as soon as Im finished with my studies in August 2011 I will return to Toronto, if Im not presented with an opportunity here in Holland What countries have you worked in? Finance and Restaurant/Hospitality What fields have you worked in before? Finance Restaurant Hospitality and Tourism Event Planning (Weddings, Tournaments, etc.) Marketing for the launch of Euphoria fragrance (Calvin Klein) What qualifications do you hold? I have completed and Advanced diploma in Finance from Sheridan College in Oakville, Canada. I’m currently completing my Bachelors in International Business in Finance and Control Which do you consider more valuable? Formal education or skills and why? Both are equally valuable, a formal education is something you can learn in school or by opening a book and then by put the theory into practice you will develop skills by working in that related industry. With both skills and knowledge you can reach high levels of success in what you do. Describe the benefits of working with others The benefits with working with others are endless. In the business world you are interacting with people from different cultures and backgrounds and this allows you to expand your connections and help your business grow. It may also be difficult to work with other people especially if they come from different backgrounds, but if you think as a team player and help your team work together your possibilities of combining your ideas and thoughts together can help you reach your goals above and beyond what you expected. Describe the benefits of working alone Benefits of working alone are that you are in control of your work and all the efforts and work you put in are recognized as yours, which to some may seem more rewarding since a project or task can be perceived as someone’s "baby" What was your worst working experience? Working at a night club, this wasn’t because it was a night club but because they would make you sit around for hours waiting to be called inside to work, with no appreciation or gratitude for the many hours you sacrificed to sit around with no pay (minimum 20-30 hrs a month) What is the most important lesson you have learnt throughout your career? Communication, I believe this is the key to a successful business and not only business but life in general. A marriage, company, relationship that has clear communication amongst them selves can change its ultimate success or downfall What unique skills do you have? I can sell almost any product you give me, as long as I believe in it myself. I’ve always had the gift of being able to communicate and interact with people, making them feel confident in their decisions and building a trustworthy relationship with me. What would you consider as your 'dream job'? My dream job consists of anything related to children, animals, outdoors, travels, and making a difference. So what would my dream job be? Working for a company/industry that helps/deals with children/animals where I can travel and work. What are the most interesting aspects of your field? The business world is expanding and more job opportunities are becoming available due to the advancements in technology you can communicate with different people from all over the world in a matter of seconds. What are the least interesting aspects of your field? Not too sure, I haven’t experienced them yet, I can imagine their are many nine to five jobs that consist of office work in the Finance industry, which does not fall into my category What type of atmosphere would you like to work in? As long as I’m interacting with people and constantly communicating with others, then any type of work would be enjoyable. How can potential employers contact you?
